We randomly picked a place to eat while on a road trip. We were all pleasantly surprised. Hands down one of the best burgers I ever had.

I had a cheeseburger and it was the best that I have eaten in this regional area! It's about 1 hour from where I live, but I will definitely be returning.

Great local burger restaurant! Went based on reviews from others and so glad that we did. They make great homemade burgers on demand and even the veggie burger appears handmade. They have the best sweet potato fries that I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and not soggy with grease, excellent consistency. Will go back next time we're in town.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. First and second time the food was great. Service was great the first time. Second time young girl not friendly. Again like I commit in my reviews. Work to hard to give money to places that either the food or service is bad. However the food was delicious. Next time I'll ask for a smile.

This little place has huge flavor!! They make the best burgers I have ever ate! Takeout or eat in. They’ll make them like you want, everything is made fresh. Great fries. They also have plates like hamburger steak, chicken strips, fish, and so much more. Great desserts. In my opinion, they have the best slaw around. We highly recommend The Burger Basket. Every time we are in Andrew, we have to grab one of their burgers!

I drove two hours from Chattanooga to try the food, and it did not disappoint!! This family-owned and operated restaurant was lively and full of patrons enjoying a variety of American classics. I had the cheeseburger basket, which was to die for, served with hand cut french fries, and tried some of my friend’s chicken tenders with their signature homemade honey mustard (out of this world!). If you ever have the opportunity, stop by and try this all-American gem in North Carolina.

Good burger! Fries are a little greasy for me but that's just a personal preference. Brownie bite sunday was really rich. Service was excellent.

The burgers are very good and the fries are good too. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Prices are reasonable also. If you want a good burger, go here. They also have fried catfish and the portion size is decent. I would definitely recommend this place.

it ain't lying, good burgers and fries

We swung by on August 11, 2018 on our way back home to ENC from a family vacation. This may be a small mom and pop type place, but I am not exaggerating when I say the burgers are AMAZING!!!! They were simple, but juicy and flavorful. They also offer home cut fries, which were so good! The staff was so nice and friendly (because we believe in Southern hospitality in North Carolina) and we made sure to tell them how great the food was. A group came in after us to order and asked what was good to eat there and I yelled from across the room "Everything is good!" If you ever find yourself near Andrews, NC, make sure to stop and visit the Burger Basket. I took another poster's review on faith as we were searching for somewhere to eat lunch that this would be a good place to eat and was not disappointed. You won't be either!

Had a cheeseburger all the way with bacon, and the wife had a BLT. Both were delicious! The crinkle fries were pretty good as well.

What an incredible burger! You've got two different perspectives. You can fancy up a burger with a bunch of spices and ingredients, or you can just make a great burger that tastes great on its own and that's what we've got here! Incredible!

Nice little mom 'n pop burger & sandwich shop. No frills, but pleasant. Outdoor seating available. Plenty of parking. Fast service. Best part is that they make burgers to order that taste much better than those we get at the fast food chain restaurants.

We’re regular customers of Burger Basket in Andrews. All their food is delicious. But, the hand patted burgers, sliced potato for fries, is real food! The food is fresh, delicious, and the staff are always friendly! The service is great! They have a menu of the selection and variety of foods to choose from. It’s a clean place to eat. On Veterans Day, they feed all Veterans for free, a way of thanking them for their service! We love Burger Basket in Andrews! The best burgers around! ❤️

This gem was off the beaten path, but worth the stop. Great burgers, fresh, cooked right with fresh toppings. Sweat tea was perfect. Key lime pie was the only let down, it was good, but is was not homemade like everything else. Did I mention sweet potato fries, yum😀

I always remember coming here as a kid and loving this place. Today I went back and me and my mom ordered 2 hamburgers and fries. We thought oh yay that looks great! Wrong. Mom was halfway through her burger and there was a black hair in a burger!! Our burgers were barely cooked and just wasn't pleased at all. Paid $17 for nothing

Some of the best burgers you'll ever eat!!! They're super kind and lovely people. Place is always very clean. Get the onion rings and chili cheese fries!

Pleasant Staff. Reasonable Price. Food is good. Small place but, still comfortable. Has outside dining area. So you can bring your dog. Except, if you are by yourself. Plenty of parking in the back. Some of the outside umbrellas are missing pins. Othet than that hope to return soon. Recommended.

This restuarant makes the best hamburger in Western North Carolina!!! The folks are family oriented and it shows what with so many families coming to eat there. They are sorta fast in a takeout but it takes time to cook the perfect burger. I recommend this restaurant and tell folks the food is awesome!! The staff and cooks are very nice and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed!! I give Burger Basket 5 Stars!!!!!

I had the Big Bang 10 oz burger with house fries. Everything tasted great! Best burger I've had at a restaurant. The fries were really good too, tasted like they were fresh! We will definitely be back when in Andrews, NC. Glad they were recommended to us and we gave them a try!

Whatever you do, don't drive by this place! This may be one of the best burgers I have ever had!! If you're ever in Andrews, North Carolina, even if you aren't hungry, stop here! It's run by the owner and the hamburgers and fresh cut french fries are the best!!! The worst part was taking the last bite!!

The Burger Basket was awesome! We stopped for lunch and everything was delicious. A small town hidden gem for sure, I recommend it if you get the chance to stop in.

First time visiting and not only does it have the best burgers I've ever had, it serves great tasting fries and chicken tenders (I'm sure everything is great, but that's all I ordered). The Best Hamburger in all of Western North Carolina. No other small hamburger stand take the time to hand pat there burgers and hand cut there french fries. They a lots of other items on there menu even fish platters, and more. You have to give them a try!

There is a reason this place had been here for over 20 years and you can taste it everytime. Great staff, great food, great prices!
